Xylinq was founded by Tom Sanders and Bharat Bedia.

In November 2004, Cargill Investor Services (CIS) formed a new team, the Securities Financing Group (SFG), to take on the opportunities presented by the influx of Hedge Funds. A major part of the SFG team's strategy was to make heavy use of synthetics financial products.

After a thorough vendor selection process, CIS chose Xylinq for their business & technological expertise as well as their high performance synthetics trading platform.

Xylinq worked closely with SFG traders, operations staff, financial controllers and credit risk management officers to deliver a fully tested trading systems platform on time and within budget.

The Xylinq Team has a background based on many years of designing, implementing and supporting financial trading systems for the Equity Derivatives (Securities Finance and Prime Brokerage) area.
